M- Mantra for Prosperity (Buddhist Perspective)

From a Tibetan buddhist perspective, there are many mantras that one can mediate upon for gaining wealth and prosperity. Buddhist believe that prosperity is not just refering to  material  things ( eg. money, career success, health etc. ) but also loving kindess and spiritual wealth for gaining enlightenment. Based on the prosperity , one can do many meritorious  deeds to spread the Dharma (so that more people can learn about Buddhist teachings, apply in their daily lives and solve their problems), help the needy and the poor and all these  in turn will sow the seeds for more prosperity to manifest.

One common Tibetan Buddhist mantra for gaining wealth is the mantra from Yellow Zambhala. The mantra is  Om Zambhala Dzalen draye svaha (Chant the 108 times a day.) The Yellow Zambhala holding the jewel spouting Mongoose is a powerful deity who bestows wealth and prosperity to all who offers soothing clear water on his crown and body while reciting his mantra.

When chanting the mantra, visualise that abundance wealth ( eg. money, jewels etc) are sprouting from the Mongoose's mouse and manifesting in front of you. When visualising, you should feel it and affirm that the wealth are indeed manifesting to you and you should feel happy and grateful about it ! The overall feeling when chanting the mantra should be of joy and happiness ! This creates positive energy on you and positive energy attract positive things !

To improve your visualisation practise, one could adopt a Zambhala image or statue. Once can also place the statue of Zambhala within a water feature letting the water flow continuously over his crown. Each day recite his mantra 108 times.
